Commercial Waste

All commercial operations in Louisburg are required to provide for solid waste collection for there business. This includes retail activities, restaurants, institutions, and others. Solid waste generated from the business must be disposed of at the expense of the owner.

The Town of Louisburg has contracted with Waste Industries as the franchised solid waste provider in Town. Commercial customers may contact Waste Industries directly at (252) 438-5333 to establish or modify service accounts. These services usually include the determination of the size of a dumpster or container which will adequately meet the needs of the customer and the establishment of a collection schedule.

Commercial recyclables may be addressed with Waste Industries or additional information may be received from the Franklin County Solid Waste Department.

Complaints may be directed either to Waste Industries or the Town of Louisburg at 496-4145.
