Account Setup
Accounts must be created for new utility customers in the Town of Louisburg. This includes both newly constructed development such as a new home of business to new occupants moving into a new home or business.
All new customers must file an application for utility services with the Business Office. A credit check is conducted and a deposit is received. Once all applicable fees are paid the Town of Louisburg will activate the related utility service. If the water and sewer taps are already existing and usable service can usually be activated the same day of application approval. If new taps are required, work orders to construct the new taps are issued once all fees and the application have bee submitted and approved.
